Hans Struzyna

Your Real Estate Agent
Should Work As Hard
As You Do.

Hi, I’m Hans Struzyna

Hans Struzyna | Olympian | Realtor

I'm fascinated by the constant pursuit of excellence.

My story is intricately tied to one of the most demanding team sports out there: rowing. Behind the gold medals and glory it took to earn a spot on the 2016 Olympic team were thousands of early mornings, countless frustrating moments, and dozens of setbacks.

I was drawn to the balance between extreme personal dedication and unparalleled teamwork it took to be great in the sport. Rowing is intensely physical, incredibly technical and wildly emotional.

One misstep and you hand your archrival the win. One missed practice in February puts you a boat length behind at the June championship. One frustrated teammate and the tension in the boat is palpable.

I SPENT OVER A DECADE ATTEMPTING TO TAKE THE PERFECT STROKE.

While I may not have achieved that impossibility, I learned what it takes to achieve excellence at the highest level.

Once I retired from elite competition, I wanted to serve high achieving people with the championship skill set I’d built. That’s how I landed in luxury real estate.

My clients are experts in their fields, expect concierge service, and understand that assembling a winning team delivers the best outcome.

When you’re training for the Olympics, a year of preparation comes down to a five and a half minute race. Similarly, a real estate negotiation for what could be the biggest financial decision of your life comes down to a few hours - or sometimes minutes. Knowing how to manage the twists and turns of an intense negotiation is the difference between achieving your goal and coming up short.

Having a real estate agent who thrives in pressure-filled situations is an essential piece.

I'm in the top 2% of real estate agents in the East Bay and top 10% of real estate agents in all of Northern California.

I'm also one of the top real estate agents on the East Bay's Wall Street Journal Top 100 Team.

And I’m not stopping here.

you won’t find a more responsive, strategic, knowledgeable or trustworthy real estate agent out there.
